Sacré-Profane (SAMAR SALEMEH)
Soprano Samar Salamé returns to Byblos Festival to present Sacré Profane – a new production in a unique setting. Accompanied by Alessandro Karbon and Fabrice Di Falco, she will perform two of Pergolesi’s timeless masterpieces: the sacred “Stabat Mater” within the medieval walls of Saint John Marcus Cathedral in the old city, and the profane “La Serva Padrona” in the adjacent gardens. Directed by Diana Iliescu and choreographed by Jean Sakr, this colourful play will also feature musicians, dancers and acrobats all led by Master of Ceremony Talal el Jurdi.
