On its 10th Anniversary NAWF Women Entrepreneurs Set to be held in Beirut on April 12
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) is witnessing a rise in women entrepreneurs working hard to found companies, create jobs and bolster their countries’ economies; an ultimate proof of their crucial role in achieving sustainable development.
Women’s contribution to world GDP is growing, but at the same time women are still faced with obstacles resulting in significant missed opportunities for development.
Against this backdrop and driven by a commitment to support and empower women, the NAWF Women Entrepreneurs is set to be held on its 10th anniversary under the high patronage of His Excellency the President of the Council of Minister, Saad Hariri on April 12th at the Movenpick Hotel, Beirut. The forum brings together key actors from the entrepreneurial world, men and women entrepreneurs as well as service providers, experts, academics and politicians.
The forum is organized by Al-Hasnaa magazine affiliated to “Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group”, and will feature valuable inputs and interactive discussions amongst entrepreneurs, skilled professionals and senior representatives from governments and multinationals.
The forum had gathered in its previous editions around 2500 entrepreneurs, business executives, financiers, business incubators and women’s rights advocates. It was also attended by female ministers and deputies from Arab, European and Asian countries.
This year’s forum builds on the ongoing efforts to create a vigorous platform for women business owners, new entrepreneurs and startups’ founders in the region; a platform that connects women entrepreneurs to their counterparts, coaches, mentors, multinational corporations’ leaders and like-minded organizations. This edition aims to strengthen and scale up the role of women’s contribution to the economy, and inspire future generations of women to actively participate in building their nations.
The sessions’ titles will be as follows:
Women Digital Entrepreneurs; Growing Beyond Borders
The Role of Enabling Institutions in Enhancing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
Differentiating Your Business in a Saturated Market
