One of the most renowned & acclaimed architects of our time passed away yesterday.
Zaha Hadid was born in Baghdad in 1950. She attended boarding schools in England and Switzerland and then by the end of the sixties moved to our good old Lebanon to study mathematics at the American University of Beirut. Without being Chauvinistic, back then we used top have the best, if not the only, high schools & universities in the Middle East.
Then she went on studying at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. Thereafter she established her Architecture studio and began shaking the architectural world with her ambitious vision & audacious style.
Her premature death leaves the architecture society in deep grief. Yet her works & achievements will leave an indelible mark on the business on both social & aesthetic levels.
RIP Dame Zaha!
Your legacy will remain for centuries. No doubt.
